What is it that the left keeps telling us over the years about President Donald Trump’s assessment of illegal immigrants during his first term not being the best people sent from other countries? He’s a bigot for saying it, and that there’s no evidence — besides the countless crimes a portion of them commit — that they have a negative impact on society, regardless of the country they supposedly “flee” to.
Well, it’s being reported that the man who is suspected of planning some kind of attack on fans at a Lady Gaga concert in Brazil was deported from the U.S. just last month.
According to the New York Post:
Luis da Silva, 44, wanted to livestream the execution of children and set up bombs close to the stage during Gaga’s performance to 2.5 million fans on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday, investigators said.[…]
Da Silva and a 17-year-old boy were taken into custody just hours before the concert went ahead after authorities uncovered their alleged murderous plot.
The pair allegedly used Discord to try and radicalize others, including teenagers, to carry out attacks against children and members of the LGBTQ+ community who were attending the concert.
A bizarre twist is that authorities reportedly “are investigating why da Silva’s [sic] was removed from the United States.”

I understand the authorities in South American countries, like Brazil, are used to sending the worst among them to the U.S. so that it becomes our problem. But, there only needs to be one reason for deportation — they entered the country illegally.
At best, the investigation into the reason for da Silva’s deportation should try and determine what OTHER crimes he committed — if any — to warrant deportation.
Da Silva and his alleged accomplice were planning to use explosives to carry out their attack.
At the very least, authorities in Rio should be commended for thwarting the planned attack. But the report that the guy was recently deported from the U.S. should surprise no one.
Apparently, the motivation for the attack was that authorities say da Silva believed that Gaga is a “Satanist” and he wanted to “perform a Satanist ritual, too.”
Lovely. Be glad on two fronts — that authorities stopped the planned attack and that da Silva is no longer in the U.S.
