Dr. Sheila Nazarian, an L.A.-based plastic surgeon and prominent Jewish voice, had more than a few things to say to left-leaning Jews who’ve found themselves flabbergasted at the antisemitism spewing out of liberal colleges, blue cities, and Democrats in Congress.

“I just finished watching Mayim Bialik’s recent post about how she sees things and it took October 7 for her to see things, and I’m just so, I don’t know, I don’t understand why it has taken so long for people to see what a lot of us have been screaming for the last four years. Especially - and I hate to say it - but especially the progressive Jews in America” Nazarian began.

“You thought matching with these left-wing organizations meant that you were one of them and that they supported you,” she went on. “You failed to read the charter of Black Lives Matter that had antisemitism written in it from the beginning. You failed to notice the antisemitism at the Women’s Marches by Linda Sarsour.

“You failed to listen, you failed to see, and what, now you see? Now you’re awake?” Nazarian blasted. “You’re disappointed in the world? I’m disappointed in you.I’m disappointed that it took a massacre of the Jews for your eyes to be opened.”

And she didn’t pull any punches from there. Check out her full response:

Prominent Democrats known for antisemitic sentiments like Reps. Cori Bush, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib have made no bones about their disdain for the nation of Israel in the weeks following Hamas’ massacre of more than 1,200 Israeli citizens on Oct. 7, preferring instead to lament the deaths of Gaza citizens in an effort to paint Israel as an aggressor. Meanwhile, Jewish students have faced threats and harassment on college campuses, where multiple student groups have blamed Israel for the murder of Jews and praised Hamas terrorists as “liberators” or Palestine. Pro-Palestine protesters in Minneapolis openly waved a Hamas flag in the streets during a rally, while “Glory to the Martyrs,” “Long live the Intifada,” and “From the river to the sea” have become commonly heard chants in cities across the U.S.
