Two massive explosions rocked the Chinese city of Tianjin on Wednesday. The explosions were caused by a large shipment of explosives being brought into a key industrial zone in Binhai New Area.

The explosions damaged nearby buildings and their shockwaves were felt more than six miles away. Many windows were shattered and the glass shards were turned into lethal projectiles. The death toll has reached 50 and at least 700 people were injured as a result of the blast.
