A lot of people are mad, y’all…at an NFL kicker!
By now, you’ve been inundated with story after story about how evil Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker is because of his recent speech at Benedictine College. Apparently, espousing his beliefs about women being lied to for decades by the feminazi movement, while calling out the Alphabet people and their influence on society, is akin to wanting women to stay in kitchen barefoot and pregnant.
And, as you all know, the letter people get big mad when you say anything that doesn’t feed their perversions of culture.
So, about that. Yeah, the people who are pissed off about his comments, that they most likely didn't listen to themselves, are helping Butker’s profile.
On the NFL Shop website, Butker’s Chiefs jersey is the top seller among the players on his team, including the NFL’s top star, quaterback Patrick Mahomes, and singer Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce. Overall, as of this writing, Butker’s jersey is the number seven best selling jersey in the entirety of the NFL.
Anyone ever heard of “the Streisand Effect?” For those that don’t know, “The Streisand Effect,” according to search engine Brave’s AI, “is a phenomenon where an attempt to hide, remove, or censor information inadvertently increases public awareness of that information.”
Also, the term “was coined after Barbara Streisand, an American singer and actress, who in 2003 sued a photographer for taking an aerial photo of her Malibu cliff-top mansion…drew attention to the photo, which was previously unknown to the public, and it became a widely shared and discussed topic.”
