Just over a week ago, Kay Ivey, the governor of Alabama, signed into law a statute that got very little attention in the pop media -- perhaps because it is a powerful rebuke of the fascistic “Obamacare” mandates placed on insurance companies, doctors, and all American citizens. The new law, SB94, sponsored by Republican state Sen. Arthur Orr, stipulates that Primary Care Agreements (PCAs),…

Late spring is always an interesting, if not bemusing, time for people who extol the virtues of individual liberty and respect for their neighbors. Because it’s in late spring that the United States Supreme Court (SCOTUS) offers its Delphic “Decisions” on matters pertaining to our rights and the size and scope of national, state, and local government. Among many other delicious cases, the…

Just when one thinks the absurdity of the crony government licensing scam can’t get any more absurd, politicians and their pals up the ante. A few days ago, we reported on a town in Alabama where teenagers are forced to get expensive business licenses just to mow lawns. Now, Oregon has taken it a step further, attacking a man who merely showed the temerity of questioning the standards and…

Remember those black and white mob movies? The ones where the a gangster would walk into a place of business and say something like, “Gee… Nice place ya got heahh… Be a shame if… somethin’ happened to it…” And, of course, the mobster would assure the business person that he or she could continue to do business by paying for “protection” from the mob. Welcome to Gardendale Alabama, where the…

It must be tough to be a dinosaur pop media editor nowadays. All these Plebians who watch alternative news sites keep clamoring for real information, while you’re trying to focus on other things. Seriously, how can the great unwashed not see that Donald Trump’s body language while walking beside a foreign dignitary is much more important than the publication by Wikileaks, Sinclair Broadcast…

Ask virtually any leftist who's been marching to “protect the weak and unheard” in the U.S. to define "fascism," and he or she will likely wax poetic about racial hatred, nationalism, free speech, the subjugation of religious and sexual minorities, and other civil liberties that, in their eyes, are crushed by the “right wing." What you won’t receive is an acknowledgment that fascism, by…

Donald Trump has unveiled his glorious Talk Show Fodder Bill unto the quislings and quizlings in the journalistic profession and the rest of America, and it is a perfect example of a Republican giving the GOP a smokescreen to claim they are “cutting” the size of government and for the Democrats to claim the GOP is cruelly “slashing” needed programs. Neither is the case. In fact, Mr. Trump’s…

Despite recent allegations of sexual abuse of male minors, Seattle Mayor Ed Murray is charging on “for the people”. This time, the hardcore leftist Democrat is revising an already leftist tax proposal to make it even “better” at achieving social justice. The tax in question is a soda tax. It was initially proposed in February, and would have imposed a tax of two cents per ounce on distributors…

Remember the days of yore? The ancient, primordial days just after hominids learned the trick to making fire, the art of multicolored cave graffiti, and the skill of using clubs to prepare the popular one-course, microwave meal? Those were the days when we cave people would sit around the fire and watch a breathtaking new development in entertainment called MTV. MTV, which once stood for a…

Want to hear one of the most ironic moves by any politically connected organization? On Saturday, May 6th, Planned Parenthood International is going to hold, get this, a “Fight for Families” rally. Really. Taking a cue from the creators of the “Skinheads Passover Sabbath”, the “Cock-fighters for Veganism” parade, and the ever-popular “KKK Celebrates Rosa Parks Day” sit-ins, the creative folks…
