Listen, I’m all for showing compassion and empathy when the party involved deserves it. But when said party is currently all about preserving some kind of right to perform sexually in front of children, you lose me. Hollywood doesn’t care about that level of depravity. In fact, they promote it as if they’re somehow ignorant to the child abuse that’s happening every single day.
Actor Kevin Bacon of “Footloose” and “National Lampoon’s Animal House” fame doubled down on his support for the drag community after receiving pushback following the first video of support he did while dancing with his wife, actress Kyra Sedgwick.
“Drag is an art, and drag is a right,” Bacon said. “Drag is a centuries old art form of creativity, expression and self exploration. It’s an opportunity to educate through entertainment, and it’s not dangerous.”
I was gonna tweet something like “I don’t have a problem with drag but I do have a problem with drag performers performing for children” and I’m sure most people would agree with the whole live and let live sentiment… and to be frank, I don’t think I have any issue with it… pic.twitter.com/Em2zQbHFQc

No, it’s not dangerous. Not at all...

Like, Brice Williams isn’t dangerous. Williams is the Pennsylvania drag queen who was charged with 25 counts of child pornography after being found by police to have dozens of pictures and a couple dozen videos of “naked, prepubescent boys,” according to Penn Live.
And while some may rightfully consider drag as an “art,” it is not a right, particularly when targeting young kids. If drag is so special to Bacon and the queens themselves, then they would be happy doing their adult performances in front of adults-only audiences. But, no. They have to show your kids what something that’s not natural looks like.
And leave it to a member of the Hollywood Communistic Cult to not practice what they preach. In looking through Bacon’s 106 acting credits dating back to 1978, not once has Bacon performed or been cast as a drag queen in any of those credits as far as we know.
If it’s such an art form that’s lasted throughout the centuries, why wouldn’t Bacon — an outward propagandist for perversion — put his career where his mouth is?
