An alleged pedophile was arrested and charged with raping a 16-year-old kid, and the media would like you to believe that’s the whole story. Obviously, it isn't or we wouldn’t be writing about it - or why the media is covering up the rest.
Eric McDermott, a middle school teacher in Boise, was arrested on Monday for the alleged rape of a 16-year-old-boy and is being held on $1 million bail. What’s particularly notable - but not surprising - is McDermott’s intense involvement not only with LGBTQ "Pride" groups, but with grooming and pedophilic behavior.
According to the Idaho Tribune, McDermott contacted his victim, who he'd taught as a 15-year-old in school, through a “dating hookup site," allegedly sending the child naked pictures of himself, chit-chatting with him and then, after bringing the young boy to his home, raping him. According to local reports, the incident occurred in 2020, and an extensive investigation finally led to McDermott's recent arrest.
Sick.
As noted by the report, most establishment media outlets are mentioning those elements but leaving out the integral part of this story.

Like the fact that McDermott was a prominent volunteer with the Pride Foundation’s Idaho Leadership Action Team. He’d table at events, advocate for the community, and was particularly involved with LGBTQ “youth outreach.” Hmm, seems like the perfect place to find vulnerable kids.
As noted by the Idaho Tribune, McDermott would also travel to numerous drag shows and pride events across the state and specifically sought out “volunteers ages 16 and up.” Yes, “the same age as his alleged victim.”
Talk about an unhidden agenda.
McDermott was also supposedly involved in “reading, promoting, and giving minors sexually explicit LGBTQ books" - yet people still seem to think this material isn’t harmful to kids and should be provided in public school libraries. He once admitted that he lets his Junior High students borrow his “Something like...” books, a series flooded with pornography and explicit details about sexual acts.
But these clear acts of grooming contradict the leftist narrative that everything gay is good and everything straight is bad, hence why most media never mentioned McDermott's history of promoting the same materials and pushing the same agenda on kids before allegedly raping one. To add, the school at which McDermott taught had already seen another case of sexual abuse by a social worker, but obviously, establishment media never pointed that out.

Homosexuals, “transgenders,” and frankly ANY overt sexual deviants should be barred from working with minors. Full stop.
Idaho needs to put the safety of children first, before worrying about some LGBTQIA+ weirdo having his/her/they/them’s feelings hurt. This used to be common sense.
