John Kerry Calls the 'Climate Crisis' the World's 'Suicide Pact'

On the same day Greta Thunberg predicted would be the end of the world, she’s not the only one still seeing "climate crises" within a sustainable and beautiful planet Earth.

John Kerry, the U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate, spoke Wednesday at a climate and security panel hosted by The German Marshall Fund of the United States. According to Kerry, the climate still directly threatens all aspects of life around the world.

“We have to kick ourselves into much higher gear, recognizing that the security connection of [the climate crisis] could not be more significant,” claimed Kerry. “I mean, it’s incomprehensible to me that people don’t make this connection….That’s why we have embarked upon this effort to make sure people understand: You don’t have security–not any kind whatsoever–unless you deal with the climate crisis.”

This from the same man who owns a private jet and warned that the Arctic would completely melt by 2013.

Kerry didn’t stop at this injunction, though. Apparently, the entire world will be committing mass suicide if we don’t actively fight against the make-believe methane monster.

“So if we’re gonna be serious and not join on silently to some unspoken suicide pact,” said Kerry, “we need to be smarter, more engaged, take action, and embrace this incredible cleaner, safer, healthier set of possibilities that are waiting on the other side of this transition.”

Maybe it’s just me, but accusing the whole world of suicidal ideation without any evidence doesn’t sound very convincing.

Also, if the climate were truly in crisis, wouldn’t both parties see it and actively work together to fight it? Yet Kerry believes that only the Democrats are acting virtuously regarding this issue.

“There was not one vote in the other party for the IRA – not one,” said Kerry. “Nor have we seen the other party yet standing up and articulating the challenge of this crisis of climate.”

Oh, but he’s certainly “not pointing fingers.”

Even if Kerry were right, and we successfully fought the climate, would the world really be a better place to live in? Because Kerry says that “the way we decide to still drive cars, the way we decide to heat our homes, [and] light our buildings” are all at the guillotine here.

Although Kerry claims that the climate crisis “is not some political strategy conjured up by people who want to mobilize people to do something,” his track record suggests otherwise. Indeed, the failure-ridden track record of the entire climate movement pleads with us not to take him at his word. If there is no evidence and all threats, ladies and gentlemen, it’s called fearmongering. And this is only the latest example of that crime – brought to you by the Biden administration.
