[See NewsBusters for more.] Appearing at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) on Thursday, Ted Cruz struck back at liberal CNN anchor Chris Cuomo and his fake news accusation that the senator is afraid to come on his network. CPAC moderator Ben Domenech joked, “I am not on Twitter right now, but I do wonder if in the five minutes since we have started, Chris Cuomo has tweeted whether you are afraid to come on his program to talk about [guns].” Cruz dismissed the self-important CNN journalist: “I'm quite certain in the history of the universe, nobody has ever been afraid of Chris Cuomo.” Ouch.
