WMAL, WASHINGTON -- Kathleen Willey, a former White House aide during the Clinton administration who accused the former President of sexually assaulting her, says she will support GOP frontrunner Herman Cain in the next presidential election.

Cain, one of the most popular choices for Republican nominee in the 2012 elections, has been fighting sexual harassment accusations from anonymous accusers for the past few weeks.  Willey says much of the news media is blowing the allegations against Cain out of proportion, while Willey's accusations against Bill Clinton were largely covered up.

"I like Herman Cain," Willey told Steve Malzberg during his show Saturday on WMAL.

When Steve asked Willey if she would vote for Cain, Willey said simply, "yes."

"I think he is refreshing. I admire somebody who just stands up and tells the truth as he knows it," she added.

Willey says the sex harassment scandal currently surrounding Cain's campaign is not a racial issue, but a fight between conservatives and liberals.  She added that Cain is spontaneous, a trait she says no other Republican candidates possess.
