White House: 'Some People Want to Use' Scalia's Funeral as a 'Political Cudgel'

White House spokesman Josh Earnest defended President Barack Obama's decision to skip Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's funeral on Saturday, telling reporters Thursday that they have "settled on an appropriate and respectful arrangement" and accusing those questioning the decision of using Scalia's funeral "as some sort of political cudgel."
