Keeping with co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin’s promise that the show would aim to “elevate the discourse” in their 26th season, ABC’s The View spent a lot of their Tuesday show attacking Republicans for their mental and physical qualities, including their looks. They suggested Florida governor and GOP powerhouse Ron DeSantis “looked like the devil” and that Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake wore too much makeup.
As they were discussing the possibility of former President Trump facing off against DeSantis in 2024, they scoffed at and debated the notion that the later was clever and suggested he had no charisma, despite just winning reelection.
