US Leads Joint Statement Condemning Kim’s Missile Provocation After Russia, China Block UNSC Unity

After opposition from Russia and China prevented the U.N. Security Council from taking a unified position Wednesday on the latest North Korean ballistic missile launch, the U.S. led a group of council members, plus Japan and South Korea, in a joint statement condemning the provocation.
