UN Chief’s Spokesman Distances Him From Report Accusing Israel of ‘Crime of Apartheid’

A spokesman for U.N. secretary-general António Guterres said Wednesday a U.N. body’s report charging that Israel is “guilty of the crime of apartheid” did not reflect Guterres’ views. U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley said the secretariat should go further, and withdraw the report altogether.
