For CBS’s After Midnight host, Taylor Tomlinson, it has been a bad week, but on Thursday she claimed to find a silver lining: possible Luigi Mangione sex tapes. Not only did Tomlinson gush over the possible X-rated material from an alleged terrorist assassin, but she also dismissed his victim as “not hot, so I don’t remember” his name.
Over the past several months, Tomlinson has tried to turn Mangione into some sort of sex symbol, and that continued on Thursday as she kicked off her monologue, “It’s been a pretty bad week for the world, so I have a gift for you. My friends, there's a Luigi sex tape. That's right. Luigi Mangione is the accused murderer of a healthcare CEO, whose name was—he's not hot, so I don't remember.”
His name was Brian Thompson, and he was a real person with a real family. What possibly isn’t real are these sex tapes, but Tomlinson thought of something else she could claim is possibly fake, “But Luigi captured everyone's hearts while he was the target of a widespread manhunt, which is also a great title for these videos. We made those ourselves. To be transparent, there is no concrete proof that these tapes are real. But there's also no concrete proof he is a murderer, so.”
