Texas Redistricting Showdown

With Texas gaining four new seats in the House, the district map must be redrawn but there is political infighting. The Democrats want two of the four new districts to be minority districts due to the states growth in the minority population. The Republicans have already created their map and need Governor Rick Perry to sign off on it. The Democrats have filed a lawsuit to stop the GOP district map and many in the state believe the courts will decide whose map is used.
