JAVIER VEGA, TELEMUNDO NEWS: For now, at this church the faithful prayed for peace to prevail and thus avoid an episode like the one in Charlottesville in 2017, when violence among supremacist protesters ended with the death of a woman. 

FRANCISCO VALLE, DEACON: I think that what happened in El Paso and what happened in Charlottesville, which is very close by, affects our community directly, and the people are a little fearful.
