VANESSA HAUC: In other issues, tonight former President Trump returned to what used to be Twitter, on the social network now called X. He had a conversation with Elon Musk, the owner of that platform. The interview was delayed 40 minutes due to technical problems that Musk attributed to a cyber attack. The businessman affirmed his support for Trump's presidential candidacy and shared with the former president his criticism of undocumented immigration. Tonight, again, Trump attacked the Biden administration's work on border issues, without presenting evidence.
DONALD TRUMP: But she was the border czar and you- the people can't allow them to get away with their disinformation campaign. Now she's trying to say that she wasn't- she wasn't really involved and…the whole thing is horrible. She was totally in charge. She could have shut the border down without him. He didn't know what he was doing anyways. He wouldn't have even known what happened. You could shut the border down. He wouldn't even know the difference. But the fact is that she was border czar. But if- -you don't have to call her that. The fact is you could just call her. She was in charge of the border and the border was the worst ever.
