SWOON! WashPost Journalist Suggests Overturning 22 Amendment So Obama Can Run Again

[See NewsBusters for more.] Washington Post political reporter Robert Costa was in full swoon mode late Thursday night as he discussed Barack Obama’s speech to the Democratic National Convention. Appearing on MSNBC just after midnight, Costa cited unnamed Democrats who want to overturn the 22nd Amendment so that Obama can make a triumphant return to the White House. Disgraced ex-Nightly News anchor Brian Williams marveled at the Democrat saying that “our very democracy is being threatened.” Costa launched into his fantasy scenario: “This is such an important time in America we remember the 19th Amendment. But talking to Republicans and Democrats in recent minutes it's clear that they're not only talking about the 19th Amendment these days or tonight. They're talking about the 22nd Amendment that bans a president from going beyond two terms.”
