CNN’s Brian Stelter on Sunday decried the likelihood conservatives and Fox News Channel hosts, motivated by racism, will oppose whoever President Biden nominates to replace Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, who last week announced his plan to retire at the end of the current term.
“Fox wants a fight, right-wing radio and TV wants a fight. They need a fight over the Supreme Court,” Stelter intoned before adding a racist motivation to his charge: “They are already starting a fight that’s rooted in white identity politics. All of Fox’s primetime shows are outraged that Biden has committed to nominating a justice who is black and female.”
