Shortly after Pope Benedict XVI announced he would be resigning from the papacy, CNN's Soledad O'Brien speculated that the "pressure and impact" of the clerical sex scandals played a part.

Her first guest on Starting Point was Alex Gibney, maker of the distorted anti-Catholic documentary "Mea Maxima Culpa," who took shots at the Pope's record.
