After the Supreme Court ruled in favor of gay marriage, actor George Takei (Star Trek's "Mr. Sulu") used racial language to denounce Justice Clarence Thomas for his dissent. From a June 30 interview with the local Fox affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona:
“He is a clown in blackface sitting on the Supreme Court. He gets me that angry. He doesn’t belong there....This man does not belong on the Supreme Court. He is an embarrassment. He is a disgrace to America.”
