Schumer Says of Decision to Oppose Iran Nuclear Deal, Lawmakers Can’t Be Influenced by ‘Pressure, Politics or Party’

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Monday defended his decision to break with the administration over the Iran nuclear deal, saying that with such a difficult decision, “you’ve got to study it carefully, come up with a conclusion, not let pressure, politics or party influence your decision, and then do the right thing, as one sees it.”
