Liberal comedian Samantha Bee sat down with Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) on Wednesday's edition of Full Frontal. Bee began the interview by proclaiming "I know that running for Vice President must be a very full schedule for you" and asking "how are you going to balance being the V.P. but also being the Attorney General?" After making it clear that she wanted "so bad" for that scenario to play out, Bee asked "how would you put together the Covid commission to investigate the abundant failures of the Trump administration?" As she grabbed a bowl of popcorn, Bee told Harris: "feel free to use as much detail as needed." When Harris tried to make the case that Coronavirus has amplified "the disparities that have long existed based on race," Bee wholeheartedly agreed; asking "Why do you think so many other members of Congress have so much trouble calling this systemic racism?" Later, Bee warned that "unless we vote Trump out of office, we're kind of totally 100 percent doomed." As the segment came to a close, Harris promoted her effort to expand voting by mail and declared that President Trump would likely lose re-election if her bill became law because "he is not a winner," a phrase that Bee repeated as she burst into laughter.
