Rubio Defends Bill Allowing Boycotts of Anti-Israel Boycotters: ‘Free Speech is a Two-Way Street’

Senate Democrats on Tuesday stalled movement on a bill which critics say tramples on the First Amendment by seeking to counter boycotts of Israel. Its sponsor, Sen. Marco Rubio, countered that all it would do was give Americans the right to boycott the boycotters. “Free speech,” he said, “is a two-way street.”
