Get ready to spend more money on the stuff you buy online.

Republican governors have joined Democrats in supporting a bill that would end the sales tax break for online purchases.

This marks a major political shift that could spark a change in federal law and it could put a lot of money back in state budgets.

Online sales tax could raise up to $23 billion a year, according to the national conference of state legislatures.
