Rep. Omar Says She Doesn’t Know How Her Anti-Israel Tweet ‘Would be Offensive to Jewish Americans’

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), newly appointed member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, was asked on CNN Thursday about a 2012 tweet saying “Israel has hypnotized the world,” and replied, “I don’t know how my comments would be offensive to Jewish Americans.”
