Rep. McCaul : Plight of Americans, Afghan Allies at Mazar-i-Sharif is 'Turning into a Hostage Situation'

Rep. Michael McCaul of Texas, the ranking Republican on the House Foreign Affairs Committee, claimed on Sunday that the Taliban was preventing six aircraft on the tarmac at Mazar-i-Sharif airport from departing, effectively holding “hostage" Americans and Afghan allies wanting to fly out of the country from the northern Afghanistan city.
