House Republican Conference Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) appeared on CNBC’S The Kudlow Report last evening to discuss House passage of the Middle Class Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2011.
When speaking on why the president refuses to support the bill, Hensarling states, “One is over this pipeline that would create tens of thousands of jobs and help make American more energy independent, and second of all, the president just has this ideological passion for raising taxes.”
