“People are beginning to use the term ‘cover up,’” Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) told MRCTV when asked about the media’s lack of interest in reporting on the attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.
Asked whether the media have been more derelict in reporting about Benghazi or the murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell, Rep. Blackburn replied: “That would be a tough question.”
“In the Benghazi case, people are beginning to use the term ‘cover-up.’ We’re all looking forward to hearing testimony that is going to come forward this week in the House as to what happened here.”
“And, I’m wearing a ‘Benghazi Blue Ribbon’ today – trying to get to the bottom of this.
“The Gosnell case: you just weep for these women and for the children who are never going to experience life because of a murderer who snipped their neck after they survived a botched abortion,” she added.
Asked if she thinks Gosnell will be found guilty, Rep. Blackburn said, “My hope is that he will, and justice will be done.”
