Putin to Europe: Pay For Our Gas in Rubles, Or ‘The Current Contracts Will Be Stopped’

Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday that if European customers of Russian natural gas do not follow new requirement on payment in rubles with immediate effect, “the current contracts will be stopped.”
