CNN's Piers Morgan claimed on Thursday that "senators and congressman" want Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev "tortured" and "the interrogation lasting for months."
Only one New York state senator called for the torture of Tsarnaev. Meanwhile, multiple GOP U.S. senators wanted Tsarnaev treated like an "enemy combatant" and interrogated for a longer period of time after he was read his Miranda rights, to gain intelligence about terror plots. However, nowhere did they say he should be interrogated for "months."
