PC Massachusetts Principal Bans 'Insensitive' Fall Holidays

SOMERVILLE (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Columbus Day, Halloween and Thanksgiving are staples of fall, but one local elementary school principal says the holidays are insensitive and doesn't want them celebrated in school. The Somerville elementary school leader sent a controversial letter to teachers, saying they need to be careful about celebrating Thanksgiving. According to the Boston Herald, teachers are already under orders not to let the kids dress up for Halloween.
