PBS’s Alcindor Connects Floyd Murder to New Georgia Voting Rules

“The Chauvin trial and that murder trial in the death of George Floyd, is connected to voting rights because, at the end of the day, it’s about...whether African-Americans are allowed to survive and thrive in America,” PBS NewsHour White House correspondent Yamiche Alcindor declared on Sunday’s Meet the Press

Referring to the trial for former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin, Alcindor asserted: “Watching this trial and watching what’s going on in Georgia, they absolutely connect.”
