OccupyDC Member Explains Why They Blockaded Building Hosting Conservative Event

As I followed the protesters I was able to interview a man who said he was with the group and reporting on it. He described the reasoning behind why the occupiers had blocked M street between 7th & 9th streets. He said that the occupiers felt the attendees of the Americans For Prosperity Defending the American Dream Summit were responsible for many of the problems in America today therefore they wanted to trap them in the DC Convention Center. He said that the occupiers would allow workers and residents to pass through but not others.
