Obama's New Budget Director Undercuts Administrations Obamacare Defense

Testifying before Congress this morning, President Obama's newly appointed budget director Jeffrey Zients undercut one of the administration's key legal defenses of its national health care law, saying that the penalty for not having health care coverage was not a tax. The Obama Administration has defended the Constitutionality of the mandate by arguing that the ability to enforce the mandate falls under the federal governments power of taxation. Oops.
