While running for President, Barack Obama promised that he would never raise taxes on the middle class.

When he was selling his health care plan he said that the penalty for an individual not purchasing health insurance, wasn't a "tax."

But in Upholding the mandate, the Supreme Court said it was a "tax."

A tax that will hit nearly 3 MIllion middle class Americans.

So now it would appear that according to the high court Obama has raised taxes, but that the president sneakily tried to frame his tax increase as something else so he wouldn't look like he had broken his promise.

At the Supreme Court, after the ruling had been handed down, MRCTV asked jubilant Obamacare supporters if they thought if Obama had broken his promise to the middle class.
