New Yorker’s Remnick: Trump’s ‘Mendaciousness’ on Pandemic Will Be ‘Paid In Human Lives’

New Yorker magazine editor David Remnick, a veteran of the Washington Post, declared on CNN’s Reliable Sources that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo provides “truth” on the pandemic in contrast to President Trump’s “mendacity.” The crisis shows “the cocktail” of all of Trump’s “worst qualities, his mendaciousness,” Remnick argued on the Sunday show, charging Trump’s failures “will be something that’s paid in human lives.”
