On Thursday, the director-general of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanom admitted what many thought he wouldn’t: his corrupt organization had rushed to keep the Wuhan Institute of Virology off the list of suspected origin points for the coronavirus pandemic. Despite this bombshell admission from a proven lackey of Communist China, the newscasts of ABC’s World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, and NBC Nightly News showed no interest in sharing the story with their viewers.
Instead of covering the WHO essentially admitting they were China’s patsy, the big three went back for another hit from their big addiction: negative stories about former President Trump. Despite the fact the claims were unverified by anyone credited, the networks pounced on a book that claimed top American generals were scared Trump would order a military coup to stay in office and compared him to Hitler.
But like clockwork, Fox News Channel’s Special Report anchor Bret Baier was there with the news that mattered. “The World Health Organization is essentially now asking for a do-over on its initial report about the origins of the coronavirus. Officials are now conceding that some of the information concerning China might not have been accurate,” he announced at the top of the program.
