MSNBC's Witt Makes HUGE Omission from Minimum Wage Study While Advocating for Biden's Minimum Wage Plan

On Sunday’s Weekends with Alex Whitt, MSNBC host Alex Witt collaborated with New School professor of economics and urban policy and founding director of the Institute On Race and Political Economy Darrick Hamilton to advocate for Joe Biden’s economic agenda. While discussing Biden’s proposal to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour, Witt pushed a Congressional Budget Office study which says that an increased minimum wage “could lift more than 1.3 million workers out of poverty” while omitting that the study stated that an increase would cost 1.3 million jobs and Hamilton pronounced that “businesses will adjust” to Biden’s proposed minimum wage.
