MSNBC host Donny Deutsch devoted an entire segment (“Could It Happen Here?”) of his Saturday Night Politics program to making a serious case for how President Donald Trump is very much like Adolf Hitler. “There’s so many stunning parallels to what Hitler was doing,” Deutsch claimed before allowing that “I’m not saying Trump is going to slaughter six million Jews.”
Nonetheless, the Morning Joe regular offered a bunch of comparisons, such as “the Reichstag in ‘33 versus Trump’s nonexistent national emergencies,” before calling Trump “a fascist” with “many tendencies like Adolf Hitler.”
