[See NewsBusters for more.] One of the reasons why President Biden's infrastructure proposal checks in at $2.25 trillion is because Democrats have expanded the definition of infrastructure to include their favorite pet projects. According to MSNBC's Ali Velshi and The New Yorker's Sheelah Kolhatkar, this is a good thing and Biden deserves credit for rewriting the dictionary.
During his Saturday show, Velshi attempted to show that, actually, the dictionary is on Biden's side. He then put up a graphic on screen that showed, "Oxford says 'it is the basic systems and services that are necessary for a country or an organization to run smoothly…'"
