[See NewsBusters for more.] The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg and PBS' Yamiche Alcindor joined MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell on Monday to long for the days of Barack Obama because those were the days when the president cared about the truth.
Goldberg, who was on to talk about his interview with Obama who is promoting his new memoir, claims that Obama has spent the last several years in retrospection. However, he's not contemplating whether he made any mistakes, but whether he was "too slow to call out some pretty significant shifts not only in ideological sorting in America, what the conservative movement was doing, but also how people were getting information. He talks a lot about the tech companies and how they create these echo chambers."
