MSNBC continued its attempt to use Hurricane Sandy to attack Mitt Romney’s comments about giving more control of emergency management to the states.  Martin Bashir screamed that returning some of FEMA’s responsibilities to the states would cause increased taxes because states would have to pay for the emergency services the federal government provides.  Apparently no one at MSNBC realizes that the federal government doesn’t have a magic money tree that it uses to fund FEMA and citizens have to be taxed for emergency services provided by the federal government.
