MRC President David Bozell says, that in many ways, he holds the media responsible for spreading the rhetoric that led to the assassination of Charlie Kirk on Wednesday.

Bozell claims the media has a poor track record when it comes to spreading hate against conservatives and he's not hopeful the incident will change the biased trajectory of the media.

"I used to think it might have when Steve Scalise was shot. It didn't. I used to think it might have. When Rand Paul was assaulted, it didn't. Tucker Carlson's house was raided by Antifa in DC. Lee Zeldin was attacked by a knife wielder at a campaign rally a couple of years ago. And then Donald Trump was assassinated (attempt) on national television and Butler or attempted assassination of Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania," Bozell told Newsmax's The Levinthal Report.

"You would hope that these guys would get right and start covering the issues of the day fairly soberly, patiently, accurately. But they time and again, they are more interested in inciting rhetoric that motivates the left and demeaning, denouncing, and ignoring conservatives and the types of values that Charlie Kirk took to college campuses week after week. So, you know, it's it's I don't want to speculate as to the motive, but I think it's fairly obvious. And and yes, in a lot of ways, I do hold the liberal media responsible. "
