Media Skip Mockery of Dem Congressman’s PC ‘Amen and Awoman’ Prayer

[See NewsBusters for more.] In yet another example of journalists ignoring gaffes by Democrats, the networks have, so far, skipped Congressman Emanuel Cleaver’s prayer opening for the 117th Congress. Cleaver closed his prayer by saying “amen and awoman.” What this woke attempt at gender neutrality means is a mystery. The Democrat, an ordained United Methodist pastor, expanded beyond Christianity and referenced the creator god in Hinduism: “We ask it in the name of the monotheistic God, Brahama, and the god known by many names and many different faiths.” Journalists have conveniently looked the other way the other way at the laughable “awoman” inclusion. They didn’t note that amen translates to “so be it” and has nothing to do with gender.
