Matthews: Palin, Like Clarence Thomas, 'Empty Vessel'

Chris Matthews once insulted Condi Rice and Colin Powell as "showcase appointments," only to apologize later. On Tuesday's "Hardball" he essentially called Sarah Palin an empty "vessel", just "like a Clarence Thomas."
