If there was any more left wing bias in AP White House Correspondant Mark Smith's report on Obama "Taking Charge" in the faltering debt talks it would have to go on the DNC website.
Just as with Democratic talking points Smith repeats claims that Democrats are trying to protect Seniors from "big cuts" in entitlements while the GOP is looking out for "Fat cats." All the while Democrats are "pleading" with Republicans to "compromise."
This narrative sets Barack Obama up as the common sense leader who will bring both sides together to find a bi-partisan solution. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Because he's done that so many times during his presidency.
