Libs Giddy Over Glenn Beck's Vocal Cord Paralysis

MIKE MALLOY (12 June 2013): What is this I heard today, by the way, Glenn Beck has cancer of the vocal cords? (pause) He has what? Cancer? No? (pause) Damn!

KATHY MALLOY: No, it's some sort of, I wish I'd seen this. It's some sort of vocal chord paralysis. (Malloy laughs). And he did a, apparently, I missed it, so I'm just going by some hearsay here, but he did a ten-minute cue card monologue where he was tearful and choked up, silently I guess you would presume, while holding up tearfully rendered cards saying things like, what do you say when you have no voice? And, have my words had meaning in the last 20 years? And, would I take some of them back if I could?
