Kerry Said in 2009 Qatar Can’t ‘be an American Ally on Monday That Sends Money to Hamas on Tuesday’

Secretary of State John Kerry has engaged heavily with Qatar in efforts to reach a ceasefire in Gaza, but before he joined the Obama administration slammed Qatar’s relationship with Hamas, saying in 2009 the Gulf state “can’t continue to be an American ally on Monday that sends money to Hamas on Tuesday.”
